I'm sure that whatever is Broad-cast on her TV - it is PPV...

I say we send Metal in undercover.

I wonder if his first words of report would be "It's So Easy a caveman Can Do It"..

Even I have a Dawn Story.   My neighbor is a CO for the area.   He will sometimes bring his gear and fish right along side of folks on the river for a short period.  He politely asked her if he could patrol her area.   She refused him and said that she patrols her own area and there was no snagging, she does not allow it.   He then went down and watched the area "outside the lines" .  He ended up writing up a few tickets for snagging that day and one of them was to one of her guides, ON HIS BIRTHDAY.  She went up one side of him and down the other, he said he was close to calling the troopers on her.

I  will.  All in all Matt is a real good guy.  He is trying hard to keep the poaching down around here.  He is building a nice big house now, tax man is going to LUVVVV  him.

Funny story Clint - that is a classic.

I never understood the appeal of fishing the town pool. Regardless of the easy access, I never had the urge to fish there - no matter how many fish were "stacked up". I did float through it once, but we did not even drop a line.

On a couple of occaisions, I sat on the balcony of Earl's Bar and watched the Clown Show though.

The place is a hole, the scenery is less than breathtaking, and I'm sure it stinks at certain times of the year.

butt - at least it's one notch above the retrads that sit at the eye of the needle and snatch fish like Alaskan Grizzlies..

Yep, Matt Dorret .   I am surprised that that many of you guys know him.      Have you guys been on the wrong end of his ticket book.  :0)
He is a good country neighbor, lives about 1/2 mile away, but only 2 houses away.  Not really close friends or anything, but he stops every now and then if he sees me outside and always waves.

Clint, about 8 years back a logger breached a wetlands that the dec was not happy about... it ended up affecting my property as well so I had a few phone conversations with matt and he met me once at my place to discuss the matter... I ran in to him in oswego behind the hotels about 2 or 3 februarys ago.... he remembered the case and we chatted for some time... after about a fifteen minute conversation he did ask to see my license... all in all, he seems like a straight shooter...good guy...

To be honest with you drake I am not completely sure of the actual sizing/number when it comes to split shot... but I can tell you this; I was bottom bouncing egg sacs with a 14' noodle rod and I was using 1 lead split shot that was the size of a pea.... which size is that????

The water I was fishing was between 10 and 14 foot deep.... it was back eddy water.... the type the browns love ;)

the water depth exludes the kiddie pool behind Larry's shop (at da wall),

so I would venture to guess you were slummin for browns just above Lock 7..

    p.s. #7 = pea size, (Green Giant - not store brand) ).
