On the day after Christmas my true love gave to me

a trip to the river. It was great. Not that many people, gorgeous sunset on the drive over. Favorite motel gave us a great discount for being steady customers (stayed there last winter when we couldn't camp) .
Fished in Altmar. Great guys around us and a nice guide in his boat. Went 5 for 12. Picked one small bag of garbage. It was all we could find in a 100 yard stretch. Saw others doing same on the other side of the river.   Tan and rust eggs , ginger  brown buggers ,  pink worms. I changed colors ALOT to keep getting bit. Many short strikes. Mostly hens, one buck. Had a blast. Will be back next weekend, hopefully. Hope everyone had a great holiday!

    charlie, nice to have a true love .. all I got for xmas was more work piled on.. oh well.
    sweet pic's and river is producing nice for you ..
    Glad to see somebody fishing..

    I blew off my trip, friends did , OK , not snagger numbers but stayed at snaggers place..lol..

    F-this .. next week I just need to fish..
