Weather

What is going on with the weather so far this December. I was primed and ready to do some ice fishing. By this time last year, I had already been three or four times...

I just checked the 10 day and it looks like low to mid 40's next week... I sure hope it gets cold soon. I'm not huge fan of the in-between. 75 and sun or 10 below and snow is great, I'm not much for 45 and rain...

    My friend Rich was kind enough to give me a bunch of really nice ice fishing equipment two winters ago. I want to put it to good use!

    You know a month ago I would not have agreed with you but right now I'm ready for the deep freeze. I have some walleyes to ice this winter.

    Dec 19th was the first time on the ice for me last year!! What the ?><? is going on??? John

    we've been spoiled the past few yrs.  that's all.  it will be here.  I just hope it doesn't come with the 3 ft. of snow to slush up the ice we do get.  that's been a pain in the arse last couple yrs.

    cowboy, I just watched a episode of In-fisherman ice-fishing that you may have liked,it was about ice-fishing for Carp at Lost or Last Mt.lake in Canada. showed them pulling several 20'plus carp through a 10" hole. The drag screaming had chills going up my back. They caught them on a spoon similar to a cast- master with maggots loaded on it.Seems like that guide specializes in that type of fishing.Watching them squeeze that brute through that hole was cool. sam
