Tough few days

Took the long drive up on Monday, even though I was battling a bad case of food posiioning, but I really wanted to go fishing. Slept in a little on Tuesday , got to the SR mid morning , water was moving pretty strong , managed to play with quite a few fish , but did not land any, I forgot the net. high water + no net = the big skunk.
Weds cold rain most of the day and decided to move around and fish some new areas for me did managed to land 1 steel in a new area , pretty quiet on the river , water still high and going higher.
Thursday took a drive and fish another Trib , real off color water due to the rain , but once again found some nice new areas ,, decided to cut the trip short and head home for the holidays and to try to recoup from the illness. All in all not a bad trip considering my issues, really glad I got my SR fix in . hope to be back up after the the new Year festivities ,, happy holidays to you all

Cape, sounds familiar. Nancy bought me this oversize net, with a 7' telescoping handle. In flows getting up around 2,000 it really is handy.  Glad you got to go and play with a bunch. Thanks for the report.

    Andrew,
So true ,,, For me , If the crowds are down it is hard for me to have a bad trip on SR, as long as everyone comes home safely.

Thanks for the the well wishes , and Yes I already feel better , I think the SR was just what the DR. ordered .

    Take care

(sometimes triple digit ...lmao)hookup trips.... but holding
