Wow. Nobody have any thoughts? Was trying to decide whether or not to spend the money on the iPilot.

I currently have a Powerdrive Autopilot V-1.....if I had a V-2, I would have already added an I-pilot to it.  When this one dies, my next trolling motor will be an i-pilot.  I haven't seen one in action, but for the type of fishing I do, I think it would be the cats ****.

I want to position over my structure, hit the spot lock, and just fish....without worrying about running the motor, trying to hold in one spot.

I have a Terrova I-Pilot. Love it, one of the best investments I ever made. The only negative thing that seems cooler than it actually is is the anchor function if you are vertically jigging, which I do quite a bit of. The functionality is there, but when the boat moves off a spot, the result is fairly irradic movements by the motor to keep the boat in position. As a result of the continual turning the angler needs to pay way more attention to where the line is (like in your prop...) than what they are actually fishing for.
