DB and others here asked about you recently. No sign of Slammo here at FishUSA... I did a bit of interwebhunting andnoticed thatyou posted on the SUK (a.k.a. Drake) site yesterday. Are you mad at us? yoyo's- tis the seaon of overtime and sleep. at work now on ot.
my step son went to erie with my xp's and landed a few last weekend or the one before. he is 17 and is finally getting the urge.
got me a nice 25" trutta this nov. one day and a few good bows. pickeral bit my fly off one rainy day.
other than that melting sand and hunting with my boys some.
long weekend off coming up. need a buck so I can get to fishing before work chains me down again.

Slammo- glad to hear/see you are working ballz to the wallz OT style (puts a cramp in your fishing though).
I recall you getting laid off in the past. Is your company grabbing extra market share in this POS economy, or are they just keeping the FTE headcount to a minimum?

specialty glass has saved us the last couple years from the obama $. it's amost week by week at this point to know for sure whats gonna happen. solar glass is saving us. what have a bunch of furnace work after new years some time so that helps too.
right tho-no play time.

why no. he's just a boy starting out. plus he went with his flyfishing club at school. it is/was good prep work playing some medium sized fush before I get him up to the SR for some real fish/fishing. you know- big boy stuff.
clearly this isn't about that anymore though.
wb -n- db gots the shack nasties already.
me- on my last day of ot now then off till wed.. deers fishing and play with the wife.

I had to go out to Columbus this week. I saw some streams from I-90 in Ohio that were pretty good sized ditches with nice gorges and high riffle pool ratios, and it did not look any smalleer than the bend going down from the wire in the LFZ. This was about 10 miles west of Kingsville. The Chagrin also looked nice. There were a couple more where the road was pretty high up and the side guards on the bridge prevented a view of the water, but the overpasses were large so there had to be a pretty good flow at the bottom. If I lived closer, I'd be investigating those waters, and the ones I saw in Pa as well, although they appeared smaller. There was enough room for fish to get its tail moving and run. And anytime you guys want to fish some real "big water" feel free to come down and fish the Genny. It's all good, the SR gets the lion's share to keep the hatchery going, but there are other places that fish very well, too.

I will admit that I had a window smashed about 10 years ago. Got my video camerawith the biggest steelhead I have ever caught or personally seen on it. It hurt pretty basd for a while. My fault of course. If I had left a sign saying waDerboy's truck they would probably have left me spare tapes instead.

I must have missed something earlier in all this, and what I did read was painful enough that I don't want to read it again to see what I missed, but I am kind of at a loss on how the civility of this board (and I use that concept somewhat loosely) has degenerated lately, and I don't want a lecture from either party or a PM on how their side is SUPREME, I just don't want to read anymore about it.
