nice investment

These blinds are badass. $100 at dicks on sale. We got a couple and hunted out of them the first day. It poured and we stayed dry. Couple drops got in from above where the stitching was. They pop open real nice.. not easy to open with one person. It can be done but is awkward. I took a lounge chair and about fell asleep in it. Good for rainy windy days.

Buddy just got surgery on his left knee so he's been hunting out of one everyday. Had 7 doe come to him the other night and surround it looking at it. Took a while but he got back on one and made a good shot. Shot right thru the screen. The blinds do stink a little. One of mine has been out back for two weeks and it still smells a little. Think I'll plow it with a big box of baking soda tonight.

I picked up some Ameristep Doghouses on sale last year but would like to find one with long vertical windows to shoot a compound out of. I was wondering has anyone shot through the mesh windows with slip cam broadheads such as Rage? Would they snag on the mesh and open in flight ?

I have used a bunch of the different $150 and under blinds. I am saving and my next hunting purchase will be a Double Bull. When hunting with kids, the ability to swivel without having to poke the gun in and out of individual windows is VERY nice.

Better too far back, than too far forward.

Shoot through screens (for the bow hunter using fixed blade broadheads) with gun slits

Been hunting with my kids for a bunch of years out of Double Bull T-2's. Hard to beat for view and ease of set up. OK for 2 person, very roomy for 1. On sale now at Natchez if anyones interested. Original Double Bull was a better product than the Primos but still better than most and customer service still A +++.

P.S. - you CAN NOT shoot mechanical heads through the mesh! Fixed heads (all that I've tried) are fine but wouldn't hunt with anything I hadn't poked throught the screen at a target a few times.
