beat up by the gf....
well took the little lady up to the tribs to try some early steelhead fishing. and wouldn't you know it not only did she catch her first steelhead on that trib but her second fish netted 10lbs. 4oz. i wish i could say that if it wasnt for me she would not have caught any fish at all but that just isn't true she picked her spot and her lure even now tho it's been a few weeks since we were up there every time the subject of steelhead fishing is brought up (and that's quite often ) i still her the ball busting quote "and who caught the biggest fish of that trip?" i will tell you that it's still a hard pill to swallow but i wouldn't change it for the world....... you got it tim i want to make another trip soon... i told her she needed a yellow rope but she's a fan of the chains  well i guess i created a monster she's all excited about going up again.... btw her fish was caught on a cleo but single eggs and jigs also worked on our trip i hope next time she catches on even bigger maybe one of those monster browns oh yeah tim i will pm you my number call me when you get a chance our buddy pat is in idaho elk hunting right now...
