Mission Bows

Hey guys,
I been checking out these bows for awhile now I was just trying to get a couple more opinions from people who have one..I'm not sure which model I should look at so if anyone has one let me know. My bow right now is a PSE Fireflight if anyone is interested in buying it give me a shout I would let it go pretty cheap..I can give a detail and a pic if you shoot me a PM. Thanks in advance, Ed

Go to a good pro shop and look at all the models. Just because Joe Bloe likes his dosent mean it the one for you. You know what your budget is so look at what you can afford. Many good used bows out there too. Don't try and rush to get into the woods the first day, take your time.

For me it was a toss up between the Mathews Z7 and the Hoyt Maxxis. After shooting both I made my choice and I'm pleased.

The Maxxis has an adjustable draw length by swapping out the cam modules. The Z7 you must buy the whole cam. Something you might want to consider when selecting a new bow. Although you order one to fit your draw length, down the road one with modules are easier to sell IMHO. Normally I would use a string loop that was approx 3/4 long. It went to a longer module (longer draw) and shorten up the loop and gained more speed which is normal. Swapping out modules sure beats buying a whole new cam as required with some bows.

I looked at the matthews.. Big bucks i can't afford one of those til i get done with school.

I understand completly. There is always the option of buying a good used one. Many guys sell them with deep pockets looking for the latest and greatest. Buying a new bow is not a good investment as they depreciate quickly.

Cant go wrong with Mission




I'm still shooting my Mathews Drenalin 27"..its still a tack driver and plenty fast.

I think my draw length is like 31.5" and the mission bows only go to 32" so i hope i dont grow much more

A 32" draw and a 1" string loop you put you at 33" if needed. You'll be fine.
