Basically anywhere on West 8th near Penninsula drive if you are heading for tribs near the lake. El Patio is a popular one. Here is a site that may help. If you have more detail on what you are looking for, I can help further. http://www.fishlakeerie.com/lodging.html

If you're not looking for fancy, try the Riviera Motel, just west of the entrance to Presque Isle. Not much to look at, but the 3 times I've been there, the rooms have been clean and comfy. About $30 a night for a single.

Thanks for the replies. We would like to stay close to poor richards. By close I mean within ten miles. Just looking for a room that is big enough to hold are stuff for a week really dont want send more than $125.00 a nigth. If there are any cabins that would be great.

The moment of truth. Where all other things unconsciously melt away from our minds the instant a fish takes our fly. We stand there on the water with wide eyes, caught in a battle stance with an idea of confidence and hope

For a cabin I'll 2d Uncle Johns. You could try the YMCA Camp Sheridan. Right off Rt 5. MAple Leaf isn't bad either.

Lighthouse is on the other side of town. Just fyi. Closest to poor Richards as the ones around Penninsula Dr. Bout 2-3mi from P.R.Also there are a few a lil closer, but I cannot think of any other than the crummy thunderbird. I forgot about 12th street. I think there are more on 8th though. Meads motel is probably the cheapest, although I haven't been there in years. Always was known for being the cheapest though. Flamingo also has always been real cheap. Those two have A LOT of monthly renters if that tells you anything. Also, mention you are a fisherman and >you saw the ad online< and you will most likely get a discount anywhere.

Best fishes to you and yours!!

Virginia's Beach Campgroung has cabins and small cottages and I am pretty sure they are all under $100 per night. I have a small RV here and find it quite nice and pretty close to most streams and Poor Richards.

The sunset motel on rt. 5 is very friendly. I have never seen such hospitality at a motel before. They are great. 55 bucks a night. Very very clean. Some of those cheap **** holes near p.i. are disgusting. This place is super clean.
It's very quiet without the traffic or rif-raf of down town Erie. It is west of poor Richards about ten miles. It is my go to place for sure. They even have a filet station there. You just have to take you guts with you.
