don't listen to eye's,minnows and eggs are good but most guys think that use of lures is a snag fest!!!!!Not true.....
The paper weight 1/16oz spoons work very well in the creeks....
    I like the daredevle,black sparkle,green, chartreuse, white,hammered silver,brass,fire tiger,All are real good!!!!!!
When they smack them they will rip the rod out of your hand!!!!!!! Find a spot just fast enough so it flutters in the current,or stand in trout run and throw them and reel back slow...I have been spooled doing this lots of time's.in trout run it is like hooking a freight train and it is lots of fun!!!!!hope this helps.... Don't let anyone tell you you are snagging...
Now on the other hand, some of the cleo's and wobblers are to heavy for my liking....But can be used in the lake....

    Have fun!!!!!!

i use the cheap lures from walmart or kmart spoons if you loose them well its a 2for 1 deal if using cleo or ko blue/white with pink works great and orange /yellow as well as fire tiger that is a basic and if you do not get any fish off that well they are not there
