Are you guys finding any oak or cherry? So far this season I've only found one chestnut oak with any mast at all. Glassed a lot of red, white, and pin oak and cherry but nada.

Got a double set hung last night beside two big red oaks that are loaded with acorns.  Gonna be here for the early doe opener on the 17th if the wind is right.

My rifle is a black rifle

Come across some reds and rocks. A few whites down in the yard the other day. I've seen some deer in spots they aren't supposed to be right now. Only white oak acorns would put them there. Haven't taken a walk there yet.

My reports and advice are for everyone to enjoy, not just the paying customers.

I found my first rubs of the year yesterday.  A couple of them were on trees that were 4"+ in diameter.

19 more days!!  It is finally starting to feel like it is "time" again and man am I pumped up for it!!

Better too far back, than too far forward.
