uPDATE FROM THE BIG "O". I WAS THERE
Good to see everyone back onlike for this time of year. I got back yesterday from fishing on the lake. I fished out of Oswego. Tuesday evening we fished and caught 2 very small jacks. We were marking some fish but they deffinatly were not stacked up in any way. They were in about 150 FOW. Nice night to be out on the lake. We fished Wed. morning and about got blown off the lake. Some guys were catching some but the fishing was hard and the wind harder. Heard a guy hook up in 300 FOW. Must have been driving a Destroyer because it was Rough with winds coming out of the South at 20 mph. We stuck it out as long as possible and I give our captain bir props for trying like hell and not getting us killed. He said the water is warm as "_iss" esp. the way the wind was blowing. Next it looks like a hurricane is on the way. I know this may mean rain, but who knows when the lake it going to straighten out. Hope this helps, and I would definately not jump the gun on getting there yet unless you have lots of time.
