There is not much snow right now.  The streams are high, but coming down.  I don't think you will have to put up with low and clear...  Good luck when you come.

I would say given the last rain event, they should be spreading out, but that is a guess.  I have seen quite a few cars at some of the popular upper sections of the streams, but have not stopped to ask anyone how they are doing.  I have been mostly fishing the lower sections of Elk and Walnut from Rt 5 to the lake.

The temperature this morning was 27 in southern Erie county and I just got off the phone with a friend who lives a bit south of me and he said they are getting pounded with snow right now, with quite a bit on the ground.  There is little to no snow here in southern Erie county as I am writing this.  The temperature I would guess is in the low to middle 30's now and is expected to go up a little tomorrow.

Nothing posted here that the average person would not post.  Just posting conditions is now off limits???

Some of you are getting overly obsessed. Someone asks what the weather's like and gets the infamous, elitist 'spoon-fed' attitude in return...amazing.

If some of you had your way there would be absolutely no point in this message boards existence.

Anyway, thanks, Bughawk...I was wondering about the ground precipitation (snow) up there myself.

There is just a dusting in Southern Erie county right now.  I am not sure what will fall tonight.  It is about 30 degrees at the moment.  I did not get up to the streams today, but would tend to think they are coming down.  I am thinking about getting out tomorrow afternoon if I get a chance.

Snowed quit a bit near wilhelm. Freind checking for deer said there was 4 inches on the ground.
Good luck tomorrow Dave. Let us know how you did.

No problem.  I am going to do some walking with weapons tomorrow morning.  A friend wants me to help him scout a spot to hunt Monday.  I will be hunting out there Friday, so I thought it might be a good idea to check it out.  If I get home early enough in the afternoon, I will check out the streams on the westside.  If I can find a good drift, it may be time to break out the centerpin.
