High water Pictures

The Mckean hole at 10:45 A.M. this morning.  I don't know how much rain fell, but it was certainly more than the weather channels forecasted 1/2 inch.  The rain changed to snow at 10:30.    I'm not sure it ever got this high last year during all that rain. It was still rising.

Wow.  I know it rained all night in southern Erie county.  It looks like it will take a few days for that to come down.  If anyone decides to go out, be very careful.

One of the reports I saw said we got around 2 inches of rain. Given what the streams look like, I would tend to believe that was correct.

I was up a little after 9 this morning to pick some stuff up. From what I saw then and your pics, it came up quite a bit in a short time. And it was way up then! Wonder what it was like near the mouth? Usually a cool/neat sight unless you drove to fish.

I wanted to head down towards the mouth to have a look, but it started to snow fairly hard. I'm an idiot and still didn't get new tires yet this fall, figured I'd better hop on 79er southbound in a hurry, didn't feel like playing in the snow.
