Reel for a Redington Wayfarer 6 Piece Rod?

Hello,
I purchased a Redington Wayfarer 6 Piece Rod for my husband for Christmas. I got the 9', line weight is 7. I thought that this included a reel, but it did not. I was wondering if someone can suggest a reel to go with this.  Preferably a reasonably priced one. Does it have to be a Redington? My husband fly fishes for Steelhead in Erie if that makes a difference in what he'll need. Also, what else, if anything will I need to complete the set?
Thanks for all of your help
PS: Is this a good rod? I think I got a nice deal on it. $139 original price $239.
