inline weights or snap on???

which works be for u and how far back from the weight are u runnin the bait to be most affective?

    If running in-lines, you are limited to approxamately the length of your rod. Other wise you will have a hard time getting the fish close enough to net it. There are a few ways to increase this distance..like walking to the bow of your boat while someone else does the netting.. But that might be a bit tricky if you have any waves bouncing you around..
    Snap weights can be placed anywhere on the line and can be removed rather easily.
    As for how far back from the bait.. anywhere from 10' to 20' But I have heard of some who let out 50' before adding weight..

    50' for me. The closer the weight is to the bait, the more drastic the rise and fall of the bait.
