Smallmouth Bite?

I'm fishing for some info...I will be visiting family in Erie this week from Arizona and hope to get out with Dad for some smallies. We usually go off Shades Beach area. Has there been any luck in that area and at what depth are they hanging. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

    caught 26 in 2.5 hours yesterday just east of shades in 25-30 fow. Chuckin shad raps and also doing some trolling for them. Good luck

    I was up over fathers day weekend, we launched out of northeast and ran west to the Ws I caught 10 in about 4 hours, didnt kill them by any means but everything I caught was over 3lbs so i was happy. all fish came in 15 to 25 ft on a dropshot and gulp
