Anyone Like These Lures??

These are a Copy of the Super Shad Rap...I bought a bunch off of ebay a few years ago and they just been sitting in a box. I actually caught a 36" muskie on one of them, but thats it. I decided the repaint the whole lot of them just for practice and trying to get colors right for natural fish mostly.

So here they are and I decided to list them on ebay...They'd get way more use from someone else that liked these baits than me. I'm hard pressed to get away from the Wileys, Leos and now my own baits.

Check them out at: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300561076173&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

I'm still using spray lacquer, but want to move to E-Tex real soon here.

The paint jobs are very, very nice Paul. Don't know anything about any of the shad rap knockoffs. The original balsa super shad rap has been one of my favorites for years. Will take speed with a fast, tight, wiggle with some wander, a very good lure around here. Ditto for the J-13 which has produced more muskies for me trolling than any other lure. Have gotten away from running these balsa lures, which is probably a mistake. More into running Lokes and Ziggies now, jointed or straight.

These are made from plastic Bob, but have about the same action as the Super Shad Rap....The body and lip are exactly the same. I have run these lures and they run perfect. Even caught a muskie at St. Clair on one of them. They will catch fish.

Just adding some incentive. I bought a few of Cabela's version of this lure cause they were so cheap. I molded a large octopus hook into the tail end to add a swirl tail, and reset the back treble to the bottom of the lure. I caught a 45" Tiger musky in the Allegheny on a walleye pattern with a white swirl tail. I'm sure the regular versions of these types of lures work just as well. It's definitely a good buy.

    I'd rather be fishin...
