Cranberry Glade

Has anyone been to Cranberry lately? I may take a day off to fish next week and I was thinking of heading there but I hate to make the drive if conditions aren't too good. I would be fishing from a float tube. I heard the weeds have gotten really bad there but maybe that isn't the case this early in the year.

    I haven't been there in a few weeks, but the weeds were really bad, especially for as early in the year as it is. I imagine there even worse now. Got skunked twice and haven't been back since. Can't cast without getting weeds, even with weedless lures. Good luck if you go, but my advice is to try elsewhere.

    Thanks DJ. I don't think I will bother making the drive. I don't feel like spending the day taking weeds from my lures or flies and getting my legs wrapped up in weeds.
