Laurel Hill Creek

Has anybody fished the upper delayed harvest stretch? I usually fish the lower delayed harvest. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Pm if you wish. Thanks.

it's been a very wierd year on laurel hill creek - either the water has been too high due to all the rain or too low earlier last week when all the rain stopped.  was there for the stocking in section 4 wednesday and the lake stocking on friday.  wednesday in the entire creek the water was very low and clear and the trout would spook very easily.  it dumped wednesday night and the next morning section 2 became a muddy mess but section 4 was ok since it's below the dam.

it dumped again thursday night and friday morning fishing the upper lake just below section 2 you could see the muddy water from the creek (from section 2) mixing with the clearer water of the lake - but they dumped 500 trout into that section by the upper boat launch and fishing was great - until about 1pm when the skys opened again with lightning and a couple of inches of rain.

looks like it's supposed to rain every day this week so it may be a muddy mess all week.  jones mill run will be stocked tuesday - it's a much smaller stream and remains fishable almost all the time.

fished the upper dh section yesterday. the water was low and clear, i would have thought the water would have been a lot higher with all this rain we've been getting. caught a few trout, would have caught more but one of them stole my lure which just happened to be the perfect lure for the conditions.

I was on Laurel Friday.  I watched the water go from stained brown at 7:00 AM to crystal clear by 11:00 AM.

And on Saturday AM it was a raging muddy mess.
