Water Clarity, Walnut/Conny???
Has anyone been out of Walnut or Conny. Western basin is so muddy I was wondering what the water looks like over our way.
Anyone been perchin?

Went up yesterday to open up the camp. Lake shore muddy 250 yds. out.

With this crappy weather the western jib bite never happened. I hope to get a few trips to Lorain in before the Kawarthas and St Clair muskie trips. Once we get back from there.... and you head up a week late (lol) Lorain will be HOT and Conny might be on. Soon... like this week and weekend I'll be giving it a try somewhere. I've done a million things to the boat including lining out the auto pilot so I just want to take her for a ride. Water is finally clearing up enough to make it worth the drive. If wind isn't good I'll probably hit the Bay and just outside. I had a buddy get 7 eyes trolling the other day with a total weight of 42 pounds. It's time! As long as the wind cooperates. They are slamming perch around Kelly's Island too..... right next to the eyes. How's baseball treating you? Soon I'll be getting more hits than your boys.  When are you going to make it on the water next???
