Who's going out Saturday?

How many are planning to hit the lake for the opener? Wave forecast looked good last I checked.

I'm trying to figure out how I can get out at least one day, probably take my uncles boat though I've got a couple of other boats and a bunch of farm work to get out of the way before mine will be out of the barn and ready to go...

Just glad it's finally here!

    Wow the weather has been so crappy for lake fishing I cant believe its here already.

    ITS GOING TO BE EPIC   I cant wait.

    Whats here? Certainly May 5th is here, but not the weather that usually accompanies it Water temps need to rise a bit more for me to have serious thoughts of hitting the big lake. In the meantime, I'll stick local and target those esox.

    You just like to rain on our parade because you're tied up with your kid's baseball games.

    Good luck on those esox. They ain't hitting very well these days and there will be plenty of time for that with the upcoming Three Rivers and Ellwood City Muskie Tournaments. Plus two weeks straight chasing muskies in Ontario next month.

    Whether it's Pa or Ohio now's the time for Erie eyes.

    Wheel bearing in the truck fixed today Paul so anytime you're ready...... to fill my tank.

    Looking at the night bite over the weekend if the shoreline clears up some and I can get away from work for a day.If not maybe some mud chickens in NE.

    Yeah...I'm thinking lake trout on Saturday. Any 'eyes that happen to be around N.E. will be fair game too.

    North East it is! I can't freggn take it. Spring is finally here. I will be out there for sure. 2 foot or less, that's what they are saying anyway.
    Lookn to pick up a few eyes at dawn, I hope. I banged a spawned out slob last year off the w's trolln for Smallies and then a few more for the freezer that day. It was about the same time last year. I know it was a bit warmer last year but I'm not gonna stay home.
    Maybe lookn to pick up some lakers too.
    Can't wait to throw out the boards and some plastic.

    Yeah you're right Joe, baseball and T-ball will probably keep me pretty handy to home for a little while here. I figured I'll be fishing local alot in the next month or so...

    Went up to open camp yesterday. Lake muddy out 250 yds.
