This is all so confusing. I'm just going to switch to fishing pegged beads on a pin rod with a giant glass bobber.

It really isn't that bad; just keep fishing and find what works for you... everything everyone has said in regards to streamers and tight lining wets or tubes is correct, but not all the time is it 100%.... I've had plenty of side strikes from fish on streamers tight lined... and I actually do believe fish can get flossed with this method. If your fly is half way
In the water column it can definitely swipe one up; especially on decending dropbacks in riffly tail outs or runs...if you think realisticly about it I think you would see its possible:) besides all of that nice catches kj... and im sure most of your fish attack your flies...
