Another blowout
Glad I had yesterday off and got my fishing in on Elk. Even though it was freezing, for stocky fishing conditions, caught quite a few. Saw others doing well on live minnows. Water temp was 43, about the same as the air got to be at 11:00. Well there won't be any fishing on Elk today with the +1" of rain we got last night. My little creek as way outside its banks this morning which means Elk is a disaster.
I might venture east later in the day to see if I can find a fishable stream or maybe the bay. But for this morning I guess I'll have to get some work done.
The bright side is that maybe the stockies will last a few more days than usual this season. At this point I wish I had kept a few to eat today.
