Any info on a trip to Presque in May?

Hey guys my dad and I making a trip to Presque for bass mainly and possible perch.  We will be there from May 2nd-May 8th.  Are there any suggestions, locations, baits, expectations etc that we should have or know about.  We have never been and always heard great things.  Any info is greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

    Check with the bait shop at the foot of state street he will have some useful info also east end angler can have some good leads too.

    Will, this should be on the Erie board, I'll move it there...
    but there are at least 2 other similar threads on the first page.
