Waterline says 4200 release--flow is 3990 at Pineville????????Maybe the bridge work is diverting the x-tra cfs??????Maybe their trying to release ALL the water b4 the hatchery tanks get dumped????????? I wish the Secret Order of The Water Release would come clean! LOL

maybe your buddy "Dougie" can build a series of Dikes to keep you comfy in the cfs of your choice...

    p.s.

    is it Dike or Dyke?

this is just a little stream you can step across that when the water gets high the steelies and salmon will run up to the beaver dam and sit there, we go in and pick them up over it so they can go up and spawn in the fall, this time of year they just move back out once the water level drops...btw, we never fish it and we chase the people who do try out because it just wouldn't be sporting

I HATE coming up weekends but looks like that's my only hope this month. Wife works Easter weekend and Politics is taking a budget break till Tuesday.
So I guess it'l be Sat, Sun, and part of Monday. Have to walk a mile for a lonely spot.

Things could be worse. We're going to try to be there at day break Saturday then head back home at sun down. Nine hours on the road for the same on the river. Then try to stay awake for Easter Sunday with family. It will be a lot easier if we catch something. Good luck and tight lines to ya Retired.

Hey bear I may have been right on the other side of the highway from you;) what amazed me more than the 2 steelies i saw in this trickle of a puddle; was the already hatched smolts bolting around. I thought of helping the adults backbut ichose to let mother nature take its course. I meant to check on them the next day but didn't get to it... while up from sunday to tuesday, I chose to target 2 rivers specifically. On sunday it seemed as if fish could be found in farm field runoffs. Guys were fishing anywhere there was a current. It was pretty pathetic. My streams of choice had good flows by tuesday and I managed to hook 4. And for the record; even carl lewis can't triple jump across the water I was fishing :) I chose to leave stream names and regions out for the sake of locals and unsportsman like behavior... tight lines; and retired, I think there will be less pressure than you think... good luck

Thanks Dime- after a lifetime of working Holidays for the wife and I we are used to having alternate days for celebrations - makes good hunting and fishing time too. Glad to hear you made some good 'luck' for yourself fishing.
You know my attitude- catching fish is secondary to fishing.
Hey Pete - thats the spirit...good fishing
