I caught 10 at the lower delayed harvest today. Water very fishable right now high with good color. Should fish well on Saturday. There is a stream gauge you can check....

I've seen many a crowded streams on the first day, but must say, Laurel Hill takes the cake.  Glad you have a secluded area to get away from the crowd.

Im headed there tomorrow for the weekend and am fishing the delayed harvest above the lake. Just checked the gauges and its dropping and looks to be prime. I hope we dont get pounded with too much rain saturday. Been going for the past 12 years to triple creek area for opening day and sunday, and yes its crowded but I never have any trouble slaying fish.
