One more trip

We put a lot of miles on the car and waders over the weekend of 4/9 and 4/10.  Found a few fish but had to work hard.  Biggest was a 30" male caught at 16 Mile.  Most fish caught floating egg sacs or single eggs.  I think a record high was broken on Sunday because it sure felt 80 plus degrees.  I was ready to wet wade.

Nice Pics!  A record high was definitely broken on Sunday in a lot of areas.

I would agree, there are still a few fish out there but you have to work hard to find them now.  I was out on Elk Sat 4/9 and landed 5 medium size steelies in the morning in the upper part, all in deep holes that I couldn't really see into.  Thought I was in for another banner day with perfect water.  However, after lunch I fished two other spots in the middle and middle/upper sections of Elk and didn't hook up with anything and only saw about one fish.
