DHALO on Indian Creek

Anyone know if Indian Creek was actully stocked in the DHALO section? According to the website they stocked it on the 9th, but after fishing almost the entire stretch yesterday and seeing only a few fish, it doesn't seem like it was stocked at all.

Same thing on meadow run. I read somewhere they have terrible poaching trouble on the DHALO's.

Indian and Meadow are fishing just fine... might have hit it at a bad time, or just didn't fish it well.

paflyfish has had good reports on both, and I fished w. a fellow board member who faired well at Meadow a few days ago.

those fish have been pounded on... put the the general flies down and actually match the cycle of bwo's and early caddis... I.E. the shop-vac.

    hope this helps

I fished Indian two weeks after they stocked and didn't even see a fish. The water was flooded when they stocked. That might explain it.

"Indian and meadow are fishing just fine..." Can't speak for Meadow Run cause I haven't been there, but Indian Creek in the DHALO section literally has few to no fish so it isn't fishing just fine. Fished almost the whole thing on Saturday and was able to see the bottom in almost all areas. I took a WALK ONLY down below the DHALO section for about a 1/2 mile and didn't see a single fish there either, so I don't know how much of an impact the high water had, but I agree poaching there is a problem. Samething on Dunbar Creek too.

Yup. Last year, on more than a few occasions, I'd stop there and find empty nightcrawler and maggot tubs all over the place. It's bad enough they're keeping fish, worse still that they're using bait in a DH, but then they leave their crap everywhere.
