Stolen motors

I'm sic to announce someone broke into my garage and cut the 9.8 merc off the boat. It a black 1987. They also stole my minnkota electric. I ask yinz keep your ears open for deal to good to be true. ANd if ya find em....hold em down till I get there.

Those of yinz in Washington area keep a close ear out...slim possibility (more of a suspicion) they may end up there.

Thanks

Slick

That sucks man, hope you catch them!  It's probably someone you know or who lives around you, that's a pretty specific thing to steal.  Someone just breaking in randomly probably wouldn't just go straight for two boat motors.

Loathesome and disgusting; all the best in recovering them.

If the gfarage was attached to the house or was specifically covered under your insurance writer then it should be covered. esp if there was signs of forced entry. Man; Slick that totally sucks.

    Indi.

I have the serial on the minnk...the merc, embarrassingly no.
The garage was down the road from my house...non attached...I'm hosed

I have a few suspicions on the culprit....definitely an "inside" job....

Everyone...Thanks for the sympathy...Now that the "shock and anger" is passing...I'm gonna quit being sic about it

Bottom line...it's just stuff. My kids are healthy, wife is happy, fish r bitin'....even without a boat this season...

    life is good.

I'm going to leave it up to God to deal with this loser....he hates a thief...and HIS justice is swift

those things are for sure going to be sold on craigslist....sorry to hear about your loss.  I look through craigslist all the time so I'll keep my eye open. The culprit is probably going to post it for a good price and even be talked lower since he/she probably wants to get rid of it right away.

I dont see any steering controls on that motor. Wonder if the seller has a bigger motor going on that boat. Looks like that boat has a side windshield which mite lead you to believe it has a cockpit and steering wheel. Brand new gas tank? Betcha slick still has his tanks.

It's cool that you are keeping an eye out. But I really doubt that if they stole it with the intent of selling it. That they would mount it on a boat, prior to listing.

depends on how hard up ppl are for money in todays world.  if someone who needs cash thinks they can get a couple hundred bucks for a motor and the person buying it is completely happy with a good deal, i am not saying it will happen i just feel bad that someone jacked his stuff
