Spinning Tackle For Trout?

A close friend and I do alot of trout fishing in the season and are looking to catch 1,000 fish between the two of us. We are firm believers in Panther Martin spinners and they are our main bait when persuing trout with ultralight gear. I was wondering if anyone knew of any spinners or tackle you could use with an ultra light that does well, or something maybe less popular and has worked wonders for you specifically. Im open to all ideas im just looking for some new baits for the season. we also use rooster tails and trout magnets so if you know any specific patterns or colors of baits that work well please specify below... thanks

Pick yourself up a couple of sinking rapalas the smallest you can find but not the one with a single treble hook on the tail. As for color I always seemed to do best on the silver with black back

Niti one spoons, gold and silver for colors. I've always done best with silver in the p chip size.

Should probably send store names thru PM guys, so as to not violate the terms of use of the website.

I asked a similar question last year, and the thread got deleted.

    Accountant, PM sent.

    Hey Slayerz
One lure that is pretty effective for me is the super duper. A friend or mine got me started useing it. They can be found at Gander Mt and Dicks, as well as Wal-mart. Use a slow jigging type of retrieve. The lure spins on the fall and thats when most strikes occur.Good Luck

It is the policy of FishUSA.com that the discussion boards and fishing reports should be enjoyable and appropriate for all. We use the "young viewer" standard - if a post is not appropriately viewed by a younger user, then it is not appropriate here and is subject to being edited or deleted. The following are the standards by which we judge the appropriateness of posts and the rules we will apply:

    * Use of the board to promote other commercial web sites or tackle shops, or web sites or tackle shops which compete with the FishUSA.com, FishErie.com or FishSalmonRiver.com web sites is prohibited

I don't really care what anybody does. It was just a suggestion that it might be a good thing to honor what FishUSA asks in their terms of use. Like I said, posts like this have been deleted in the past. Some good info in this one, so keep it going in the right direction.

These boards are owned and maintained by an online tackle retailer. Naming their competition, on their website that they pay for, is against their rules that they set for their site.

While the site can be fun, the purpose of the message boards, is not necessarily for us to all have fun. It's intended to increase sales for them.
