Gentlemen, I'm sorry to have to report that Skeeter and myself won't be able to attend the event. The price of gas has gone thru the roof and it would cost over 300 dollars just for gas. Plus lodging, food, license and other "necessities". I'm really sorry to miss the event but as a compensation for the Skeeter I'm going to try to arrange a day on the Cumberland drift boating and casting mddler-bunnies for some big browns and bows. Almost like steelheading. Sure wish thngs had worked out. Y'all have a great time and I'll see you at the "One Fly". Thanks Jack.

There will be some guys that start fishing at first light. I'll probably get there late morning, around 10 am. If a hatch comes off it will likely be in the afternoon. It's time to commit to what food/dishes you're bring!

~ ORIGINAL: beerman ORIGINAL: beerman ~ ORIGINAL: beerman ORIGINAL: beerman So...it appears Sunday, May 15th is the best date to have the picnic. We usually break for lunch around noon. Please bring a dish. I would like to suggest to those that are fishing Oil Creek both Saturday AND Sunday to speak up and maybe meet up with those that can only fish on Saturday. In class reunion terms, the day before the outing could be called the icebreaker, haha. This is a great time to meet new fishin' buddies. Committed for the picnic Sunday, May 15th: 1) Dano - hot dogs, buns 2) HC steel - 3) doubletaper - cupcakes 4) bingsbaits - 5) Fishin Coyote - 6) krott243 - 7) Steel Junkie - brownies 8) deetz 4352 - 9) Mossy Oak - 10) 71Go - Italian beef 11) troutslammer - taco dip + chips 12) acmaul13 - deviled eggs, paper plates 13) Extreme Shallow - 14) rippinlip - pop + water 15) Jokerbal101 - bq meatballs 16) rookie5781 - mac salad 17) deetz4352 - chocolate cheesecake We all need to figure out what type of picnic item i.e. food + drink, plates, napkins, condiments etc. to bring. Please post on this thread and I will keep the list updated. Above is an updated list that I will continue to update. Dallas and I have decided not to come. We are both hoping to fish Oil Creek next Sunday (May 22nd).

If the forecast goes as predicted , it looks like we are going to have a picnic outing not a fishing outing. Lets hope for at least half a day it will fish and not rain. Hope there isnt a significant amount of rain that falls between now and sunday.

I'm hoping that it doesn't rain much more around Oil Creek by Sunday. I will try to look at the Sunday in a positive way. It will be great to see familar faces and meet new ones. If the stream is not flowing too fast or is high, and we all catch fish then that's a bonus. Also, the food is always great!

(Mika&Bings know that I can) Let me know k? ac Modifiying to say at least 2 dozen.
