9th Annual FishUSA Oil Creek Outing ~ 2011
It's been a long winter and I know it's a little early to start thinking about the annual outing, but maybe it's time to start planning it. I read on the PA Fish commission's site that the area downstream from the bridge at Petroleum Centre will be stocked on Thursday, May 5th. Mother's Day is Sunday, May 8th. The outing is open to all of this site's members and their friends. This is a excellent chance to put a face on a screen name and to maybe develop some new friendships. In the past we usually voted on a date in which it will be held. The majority rules. I vote for Sunday, May 15th. I don't always snag fish, but when I do... I choose Little Cleos I'm the best looking smartest snagging poacher alive...

So...it appears Sunday, May 15th is the best date to have the picnic. We usually break for lunch around noon. Please bring a dish. I would like to suggest to those that are fishing Oil Creek both Saturday AND Sunday to speak up and maybe meet up with those that can only fish on Saturday. In class reunion terms, the day before the outing could be called the icebreaker, haha. This is a great time to meet new fishin' buddies. Sounds like a plan. Keep in touch when the time gets near. Be nice to show you how to catch them trouts again like I showed you before.   You get 5 minutes to hook one then times up and you will see how its done.  The Deetz

DT, rippinlips would like a dozen size 12 & 14 stone fly nymphs! Hate for him to only settle for a dozen trout cause he ran out of nymphs! I am in for the 15th as well and praying for good conditions with plenty of risers !
