Raystown Fish Kill

Heard about it on the radio this morning. Looks pretty bad in the news report but I guess it will benefit other fish in the long run

    gizzard shad die every year sea gulls get there belly full pike wait at mouths of small creeks for them to come drifting by

    Happens yearly on many rivers and lakes. A natural die off in the spring that provides food for a lot of other fish stressed out from the winter.

    yeah. gonna make the big fish bigger. the change in the shad population will probably go unnoticed
