? does a private organization stock walleye in the yough

There is the rumor that they do... yet I've found nothing on-line about any private organization stocking walleye within pennyslvania. If anyone is involved with this, or know who does can you give me a name and an email address.

maybe though this is just an unsubstanciated rumor; that would be interesting. what caused it??

    Here's a club that supposedly stocks the res.  Maybe that's where the rumor started.

    Yough Sports People Association stocks walleye in the Yough near Coulter most years.  Some years the weather or funding doesn't allow it though.  I am a member.

    they have remainder of the state opening day of trout as April 17...its actually April 16

    Nevermind...sorry thats still from 2010...my mistake

    I worked at Wildwood Sportsman Shop and till we closed we collected money and stocked trout in the Route 8 stretch of Pine Creek In the Fall when the PFBC did not. All we had to do was call our regional office and let them in on our plan. They quickly said ok and just give them a call a week or two before we stock so they would know to patrol that section of the creek. Rather an informal process in this example but Pine Creek doesn't have a management plan.

    Yeah, you need to pay attention to the postings on that site.  Many are older and never get deleted and new updates/postings are hard to come by. 

    FYI,
    First meeting is March 30th in Coulter at the Fire Hall.  $21 for a yearly membership which gives you a key to the private launch in Coulter and use of the pavillion, amongst all the other member stuff (and hopefully a walleye stocking this year).
