Creek Name

Could any one name the creek that runs along the eastbound lane of the turnpike between New Stanton & Dongegal exits? It appears it would be accessible off rt 31 between Donegal & Mt. Pleasant. I doubt I'd make much effort to fish it, but it looks like a nice stream ( if you could get away fron the pike noise ).

Jacobs maybe?

On Freeman Falls Road right at the bridge that goes over the turnpike there is, or was, a small parking lot on the south side of the bridge put in by the state. It's a long walk down to the creek from there and an even longer walk back up that gosh forsaken hill. It's stocked by the state with pellet heads and I'm sure there are natives there also. My father-in-law used to fish it with a buddy. With a car parked at the Mennenite Camp at Lauralville they would drive up to Freeman Falls and fish the creek back to the awaiting car. Beware of the rattlers along there in the summer.

Hope that was enough information for you.

Thanks guys. Like I said, In doubt I'd ever bother with it. I just was curious, as I seem to look at it more than the road as I pass enroute to my in-laws.

    meh, you're an idiot

yea, let's go fish for naturally reproducing nature and not care about the resource.

you're a real winner moles... classy avatar as well.  Bet the chicks are lined up to get a night alone w. you.  Do you drink Busch by chance?

also, maybe if you'd invest in a rod that made 8'' inch fish feel like 15'', or fish on top of the water for some challenge, you'd enjoy the experience a bit more.
