One point that I know is true: We are losing thousands of acres of woods and forests EVERY year. I know this because when I first moved to Central Pa.(1993) I had lots of hunting spots(private) that I gained by just asking for permission. I hunted and killed deer less than 5 minutes from my home. Today ALL that area I hunted is gone(about 2,000 acres). They all have developments built on them(No more woods or fields). Guys around here complain there are no deer. They should be saying there are NO deer because the deer have nowhere to live. Why am I the only person that can see this decline in habitat? Its right in front of them and is happening all over this state(some areas faster than others).
