Lost a fellow fisherman

A buddy of mine passed away yesterday. He was a good fisherman and will be missed by his friends. He loved to steelhead fish in Erie and I fished a lot of local streams and lakes with him in trout season. It was kind of sudden, he went into the hospital with  pneumonia, slip into a diabetic coma and got a viral infection and passed away. All within a weeks time. Please say a prayer for his family.

Thanks !

Jeb, Sorry for your loss. I'll be thinking of ya and saying a prayer for the family.

    Thanks guys !

I'm still having a hard time dealing with it, it just plain sucks !
Today is the viewing and I'm not sure how I will handle it.
I plan on fishing the last place we fished together this past fall in the spring. I will pay my final respects there, sitting on the bank with a cold beer and reflecting on the time we were able to spend together. He was only 43, three years older than me, it really makes you realize how precious our time is on the planet.
