Allegheny River Ice??

Allegheny River Ice??

Just wondering if anyone up north can give me the ice conditions on the Allegeheny river, say Oil City south. Might be heading out this week-end with my boat and would not like to hit an iceberg........

    Lots of ice on the shoreline that extends out into the river, but not too far


    Today driving home the main channel looked good over the 8th street bridge, there is some ice but not big chunks

    French Creek blew out today. Mega debris from Franklin on down. Allegheny was still holding color mid-day, but that won't last long.

    Leaving work at 4:30 in Franklin, the Allegheny was getting pretty colored and big cunks of ice were coming downstream.
