With Warmer Weather, Open waters will arrive, Thank GOD!

With warmer weather open waters will arrive. Thank God!

I would like to warn you all, please be careful of reports and threads on web sites. It has been brought to my attention that these sites are read and monitored by landowners. Some information written may not be very land owner friendly and could  harm land owner relationships between fisherman and landowners.

On the streams please be respectful to others around you as they may be the property owners. Behaviors on the boards(web sites) and on the streams can and due impact the fishery we enjoy. Negative actions by few can lead to dramatic results that may not be in favor by all.
Respect your self, your fish and most importantly the waters/land you fish on.
Please consider this a warning

Good luck fishing, Chris NiebauerPresident Pennsylvania Steelhead Association

Its not so much us is it? I believe most if not all are good sportsman here.
I,ve been on the streams many times and asked a fellow fisher if he got on the board and it seems 99 of a hundred
never heard of this sight. Strange but dt and I both had this experience. I for one respect the land owners immensely.
Met some great owners and one very rude dude. But I agree respect is the thing. Just sayin...

Up Steelheading I have asked many of the anglers if they post on this sight.
I found that many read the sight but very few post..

I could understand how a landowner could get a little poed if he were badmouthed on a message board. Let's hope that doesn't happen here.

Lets stick to the thread here...Actions do speak volumes! However, I'm with Mika here, most of the folks who post here are sportsman and most likely totally respectful to landowners. Besides, we will be fishing the big lake soon anyhow....and WE will be owning that baby!!!

Also....Bings makes a great point as well....many may not post much here, BUT plenty read what is written! SOOoooooooo, Careful what you write! In ALL regards

Just imagine the feeling of a land owner who goes down to a spot on his property and catches 3 16" brown trout and puts them on a yellow rope stringer.  The next day he decides to look at this site...

It all boils down to the choices we make in life.  What we do and say have consequences; for good or for ill even if we don't think they do.

Actually, I think most of the information written on this site is very land owner friendly and does way more good than harm.  Most regulars on here are always talking about picking trash up when they go out, enjoying the beauty of the area, and reporting snaggers and litterers.

Whenever anyone names a location on private property, everyone on here bombards them with negative comments about spot burning, respecting the landowners, etc.
