I usually fish it at least once a week as it was on my way home from work. I live 5 minutes away. With so many people living so close maybe there could be a small fishing get together.

I'm glad you like it. I like my new one so much I don't miss yours! Did I give you the motor water muffs? ...I can't find them.

It's always had a muddy look, but looks worse after a rain. Caught my first fish there when I was around 4 or 5, used to be a paylake and my grandparents took me there.

one reason is that the stream that feeds it comes through a swamp & carries a lot of mud into it,also because it is so shallow at that end, that any current spreads the mud ,plus when they have the fountains on that keeps it agitated.,on top of that, there are usualy up to 200 geese & ducks swimming in it daily, adding fertilizer to the lake & surrounding shoreline. sam

Sam you get my pm? The lake is good for little crappie and bluegills for the little ones.. Always go there and catch lots of carp with a couple catfish here and there. If you hit it close to a stock you can pick up a lot of trout. When we stock in the summer from Angelo's we stock some really nice fish. Ed

I feel the same way. I usually fish other area on weekends but many times I would be heading home from work and go fish there for a couple of hours.

Anytime would work for me when it comes to getting together and fishing. What ever is best for everyone else.

I've had some pretty good days there for trout nowhere near when they were stocked.  And I agree the duck s*** is absolutely ridiculous.

Just curious, when you say "we", do you mean NHT?  Why would they want/need a map of the lake?
