Salmon River, Pulaski - Fish Report!!! - Ye-Haa!!!1

In my last 2 trips we have done poorly to incredible!
First trip - We hit 1 fish all day.
2nd trip this last Sat. (experinced anglers:) we hit approx. 15-18 hard fighting, incredible fighting Steelhead!!!!!
We found them all in 3 out of 4 spots. Loaded!!!
Mostly, Winter lyes, but a couple in Tran.

    P.S. The shore anglers (that I saw) were also having a lot of luck.
    Throwing mostly aqutics, Etc....
    6 to 8 lb. Floro. tippets and or leaders :)
    Top to bottom, go get'm!

    Randy - I know your stretch is usually from Altmar to Pineville, I think with the low flows, slush and anchor/shelf ice just about every guide is staying up top.

    Have you noticed any freshies or are the fish all darkhorses?

    February is normally the month that BIG BOY's come home to roost in the River.
    Have you noticed any big males in the river?

    I have not made any trips in Jan due to low flows, low temps and lockjawed fish for the most part.
    The extended forecast shows a warming trend next week.. Might be time for me to fill the gas tank and head North.

    would appreciate your observations about inflow of fresh fish to date, and your expert predictions.

    The best reply would be to simply suggest reading my post above.
    I dont mean to be....
    -But,
    - After doing this for many, many years, and posting the same info. for many many years.
    (As well as your expert experince level)
    The truth on the fishing is all above in my last post. (as you know:)
    The fish are here, as they have been all Winter, with more to come, as you know.

    I have no intentions of jumping the Hole within Your Hole.
