I hope spring comes soon
Cant wait for open water fishing again. Although Im getting some things accomplished around the house this winter I need to cast something a mile into some open water. Grip it and flick it!!! I know Slick is "down" , anyone else ready???
I know cabin fever sucks and I can go fishing any given day,but springtime always makes me excited to get out and get into some serious fishing again. Im ready for spring!!! Anyone else ready??

I agree Deetz! It is 0400, I am at work and just finished paperwork and cleanup after a couple of runs that lasted a lot longer than they normally would have compliments of good old Mother Nature and her snowy, miserable winter roads. It is miserable working conditions and when not at work the cabin fever is getting to everyone. I am looking forward to either drifting in the boat for a day or sitting by the water watching catfish lines for an evening! Seems like forever!!  And if my little herding dog doesn't soon find something to do I'm afraid the cats are going to revolt against her! They don't take too kindly to her preoccupation with their activities since she's stuck in the house!

For the last few year have had my boat in the water third week of march in the bay. Don;t usually catch anything but it still feel good to be out.

Sharp.....I plan on doing that this year as well. Just as soon as there is enough open water in the Bay or a clear dock to put in at I will be out there this year.

Deetz, If you really need some open water to fish, come down my way(Central Pa.). I have been getting some eyes,bass, and a few Muskys in the Susky river. Just ask Slick. He will confirm it. O and by the way we only have a whopping 2 inches of snow! That makes 10 for the year.

This has been one of the mildest winters as the season goes. We are still 6 inches of snow below normal. Now of course the cold part is still there, so yeah, it's still a bad winter regardless.

Got out for the second time this year yesterday. Still nothing to show for it other than a sore arm, but it's been good to be out throwing a few loops, and making some room in my fly boxes for more tying.

NO WORK FOR TWO MONTHS,CAN'T FISH, FORGET GIRLFRIENDS, MY CAT DOESN'T LIKE ME,IF THERE WAS A FIFTY CENT REFUND ON A LITER BOTTLE OF VODKA, I COULD BUY ANOTHER Z-AXIS. THIS WINTER SUCKS!!! AT LEAST THE PACK IS GONNA WIN THE SUPERBOWL, THAT'L BE NICE.

Mika.. just what I didnt want to hear. Winter storm warning...  I hope the weather meteorologist are right when they say only 1-3 inches to come tonight. tomorrow and tomorrow night. If they wrong and we get 12"+( which can happen) I will be hurtin bad next few days.  The Deetz
