Rabbits!

Hunted this morning from 10 til 12. Kicked out 7 and only shot one. Tough hunting by myself. But I love the challenge. No dogs. Was good til the snow melted. As always lots of tracks but nobody hunts small game anymore. Can't wait til we get some more snow again!

    Come up North, still lots once you get past Tidioute. I plowed and shoveled 3" of new stuff today and that's after shoveling 2" yesterday.

    Don't get me started about the "snow storms" we get in Central Pa. I could not hunt til 10 because my daughter was on a 2 hour delay for a DUSTING of snow!!!!  I bought a snow blower in 1998 and have used it maybe 5 times.

    rabbit hunting is great ....now if i can just get at least one id be happy lots of track but cant seem to get them to move been going alone also ..Lots of places to go up here in Girard but hunting  alone is the worst only ended up wit hone fox squirrel
