New Year

Happy New Years Salmon River Guys & Girl. Sorry I haven't been around, but just moved into a new house over the holidays.
I hope to get fishing ASAP somewhere cause it's been too long.

Tied up about 3 dozen Winter flies in the old house & can't find them in the new one.

dime, before I left I checked conditions and determined it would be a waste trying so I did n't even take my gear.Too much ice, slush, and from what I heard few fish. While there towards end of trip temps went to 60 and then rain and all the snow melted,of course everything flooded for a few days.
I'll be out there in spring and give a few some sore lips.

Guys- after a 2 week search I found my flies last night. Thank heavens. I spent about 2 weeks of going bat crap crazy.
On my long weekend from work for a couple more.
New house is ok- lots of Bunnies in the back yard for my Beagle to sniff out. He's in the promised land & I can see now that's what Beagles were made to do.
Now I needs some warmer weather and my fishing license.

Salmo, your Beagle will wear out its tail now I bet.I used to hunt with Beagles back in the day when there was something to hunt, now the Pheasants and rabbits have been replaced with deer and turkeys and I gave up hunting. My best friend is a Boxer and she loves to chase the deer and turkeys, but I think she wants to play with them, unfortunately they don't know that so they run away.

Yeah- that tail goes now. When he gets on a scent it starts going in circles. Haha.
I wish I could turn him loose on Bunnies here but it's too risky in suburbia. Bad thing is suburbia is the only place with Bunnies left!
