Hard time getting new license
Is anybody having a hard time getting a new license? ive been to 3 locations in last couple days. getting the run around,some saying the computer doesnt recognize 2011,other place says my CID# isnt right,well its the same as my hunting license.other place tries to call Harrisburg but is on hold for 30 min then gets cut off.
the new system was supposed to make things easier,lmao try again tomorrow between 8-4 while state licencing office in harrisburgh is open takin drivers lic,hunting and old fishing lic.

Did not have problem today getting it at Presque Isle Angler Dockside on state.

dont have a printer. seams to be a problem in Clearfield county,tried hardware stores and walmart.

dad bought us vouchers for our licenses and I turned it in today at Rt 66 sporting goods.It took them a few minutes and it went thru.
I'm gonna fish more and work less. Have A Crappie Day

I had a problem getting mine yesterday too. All was fine today. "When it works" the system is faster. "when it works".

finally got it they had to call harrisburgh and come to find out i died in 97..had to talk to fish comission to confirm who i was. what a joke and i told em so..

the only reason why the system was implemented was to obtain their money right when the sale goes through.....no more waiting months and months to get their money from the tackle shops....
Old School would go like this: mom and pop use license money to purchase their tackle stock to sell to us.......then when all their gear is sold, they send the money to the state, slowly....and usually after a WCO had to pay them a visit.........
When the licenses were implemented, there were plenty of issues with the system....guessing according to this thread, there are still problems.........
I've had the State of New York give me problems when trying to get a replacement license.....all it takes is somebody to input a letter or number in the wrong place.......

My Dad usually gives us money for our new license for Christmas.This year he got the vouchers for us.I turned mine in ,took a few mins for it to go through must've had to redial a couple times.The past couple years we printed out our licenses but have no ink this time.
I'm gonna fish more and work less. Have A Crappie Day
