Lake Wilhelm Ice Report?

I read the report from December 10th on the PA Parks site.  It stated there is 2 inches of ice on the lake.  Has anybody been up to Lake Wilhelm the past couple of days?  I am off for two weeks and would like to ice fish there in the next week or so.

    2 Shanties out at 3 posts yesterday (Thursday).  Wednesday ice was pretty shaky there 2 1/2"-3" but ugly stuff. Frozen slush, grey ice, white ice, black ice. Wednesday night it got down to 6 degrees though. But as you know early ice can be dangerous.  Spud your way out and be very careful! Have fun and Stay On Top!

    zman, there were 2 huts out yesterday.
    going to check the thickness this afternoon.

    Went last night, seems to be roughly 2 inches of honeycomb ice, then a strong 2 inch layer of good ice. Hard to tell with my spud bar, but looks good enough for me!

    ice is variable 3"-5" w/ a little cloudy as mentioned.
    The less snow on top, the more ice there was.
    2 guys out w/ another on his way.

    ice is good, i'd be there right now but my fishin partner only has 2wd :(

    6 inches of good clear ice off launch one. Three posts and down by the dam had a number of huts. Fishing was slow for us. Dink panfish.

    I'm driving down from erie next sat and was wondering how the ice and fishing is and maybe a good place to get some fish if anyone is willing to guide me in the right direction , I'm not asking for your honey hole just wanna catch some fish? Thankx
