Underwater Video Camera

My wife suprised me with a kodak mini last week before a fishing trip. It's a small digital video camera that can be submerged. She got it on sale for $29.99, they usually sell for around $99.

The video and sound clarity are not great, but it's fun to mess around with, and I can keep it in my pack without it taking up much space.

I took it out on one of the local creeks yesterday to get some underwater shots of trout. Here's a quick vid of a brown and a bow from yesterday.

    Nice.
I thought the underwater clarity/focus was good.
I've seen worse from more expensive cameras.
Have fun with your new toy.

Very nice! Now if you can rig a remote wire to it it would make prospecting those "unknown" areas much easier. Just throw it out and look for fish.

That was exceptional. The bow was a really good fish. That's where I'd be fishing.

I do, in fact, have footage of a sucker caught that same day. Believe it or not, I didn't catch it.

I'll post a link to the sucker, and some steelbow action after I kill something tomorrow.
