Father/Son Fun +forum contest

Had a very successful fishing trip with my father, he had quite a few hookups but couldn't really get any in, he was a bit rusty. I landed around 12 altogether with one hog...

Contest: Rules: First person to guess the exact weight of this hog I caught... gets two prizes.

First prize is a copy of the fly that I caught this fish on, and the second prize is a copy of my most productive fly pattern (have caught over 100 fish on it this season)

Pic taken in front of Poor Richards where it was officially weighed.

Same fish next to Walnut Creek Marina

Pic of the father with a fish he helped me net :-) (happiest guy on the steam!!)

Sorry guys... by no means and in no way was I trying to brag... I just wanted to show ya guys my big catch!! My biggest so far! Also I wanted to give away some lures to a lucky guesser! Numbers mean nothing, it's the enjoyment that matters :-)

    and yes... 2 flies :-)

    Numbers mean nothing

But yet you post a thread about numbers. Weight of fish represented by numbers. Amount of fish. Counted with numbers. Giving away a prize. Not 1 but 2 flies. You say numbers dont matter. I believe you. Nice fish though

Paul2ski, Welcome to the boards! Great Fish! As you can see, put your bullet proof vest on when you post! (there are alot of great fisherman on this site that ty their own flies. They won't be impressed with the 2 free flies.) Just say'n!

My Wife said, if I go fish'n one more time, she'll leave me! God, I'm going to miss her!

well I am not trying to impress anyone... just have a little fun giveaway... I am sure there are guys who could fish me out of the water on here... but life/fishing isnt a contest... and the only thing that matters is you enjoy yourself!!!! Plus two free flies just for guessing? I mean that seems like a pretty sweet deal to me!

You guys are still a little off :-)

    Hint: Length was 35 inches
